General Overview

Universitas Diponegoro is well known as one of the best universities in Indonesia which is acknowledged in Top 10 Best National Universities. Undip has approximately 1.884 academic staffs with excellent academic qualification in which 80 percent of them holds Doctorate Degree in their respective fields. The supporting facilities are University library, canteen, football stadium, international indoor futsal stadium, international student dormitory, basketball and tennis court, jogging track, Muladi Dome Convention Hall, University Hospital, and more. Undip is home for more than 65.000 students, including hundreds of International Students around the globe. It brings you more opportunities, cultural exchange, broad networking as well as dynamic academic experinces.

Diponegoro Exchange Experience Programme or shortly called DEEP is the most integrated student mobility scheme at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip). This programme is designed to accommodate international students from both partner and non-partner Higher Education Institutions/Universities worldwide to experience 1 (one) semester at Undip. The students from partner universities are able to get credits that are transferrable in their home universities. By this scheme, students are categorized as Credit Transfer System (CTS) students. Meanwhile, students from non-partner universities will only earn credits and the credits cannot be transferred to their home universities; socalled Credit Earned System (CES).By sending the students to participate in this programme, non-partner universities are possible to propose an academic agreement with us. Eventually, the students can transfer the credit earned during the programme.

Fee and Expenses

Participants will receive:

  1. Registration fee waiver
  2. Tuition fee waiver
  3. Settlement allowance IDR1.500.000 (tax might be applied) once upon arrival
  4. Living allowance IDR2.5000.000 (tax might be applied) / month
  5. Cultural Programmes
  6. Pick-up service from airport to Undip (term and conditions might be applied)

Participants should pay for:

  1. Round air ticket (International and domestic flight)
  2. Visa Fees (Indonesian visa index E30F)
  3. Dormitory
  4. Meals
  5. Book (if any)
  6. Other personal expenses

Required documents

Required Document for Admission Online Application :

  1. Letter of Recommendation (in English) from an Academic Supervisor or International Affairs Department at home university
  2. Proof of Enrollment from Home University
  3. Certificate copy of TOEFL PBT (500) / IELTS (5.5) or equivalen
  4. Latest Academic Transcripts (in English)
  5. Health Certificate from a competent authority in English

Required Document for Visa Application :

  1. Certificate of Financial Guarantee (Bank Reference with a minimum of US$1,500 or equivalent, for visa purposes) Download Template
  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV) / Resume
  3. Copy of a Valid Passport (colored, valid for at least two years) or Student ID
  4. Letter of Declaration to comply with Indonesian Regulations Download Template
All of required documents (for online application, and visa application) must be in PDF format, with each file size of maximum 200 KB and will be dropped to admission.undip.ac.id (please refer to Application Procedures)

Application Procedures

The nominated students are required to complete the UNDIP online admission application system :

  1. Go to the online application form Undip https://admission.undip.ac.id
  2. Click "Register"
  3. Fill in the form (passport number, email, password, confirm password), Submit the Form
  4. Fill in the Profile form
  5. Click New Admission, Choose the academic programme (make sure to select the NON-DEGREE DIPONEGORO EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE PROGRAMME (DEEP))
  6. Fill in the form of the enrollment page (please fill in the form with your personal details and educational background. All required files must be completed before proceeding to the next steps)
  7. Choose the study programme (applicants can choose one out of all study programmes offered), Submit Application
  8. Upload the required documents, Please wait for receive a notification via email

Acknowledgement

  1. Exchange- related Information

    Exchange duration : 1 academic term/ 1 semester

    Language Proficiency requirement : TOEIC 600, Paper TOEFL 500, CBT TOEFL 180, IBT TOEFL 65, IELTS 5.5 or if students are able to master Bahasa Indonesia level B2-C

  2. Credit Transfer System

    Students from partner universities are able to transfer their credits when returning to their home universities. The course/s should be acknowledged by both universities and finally marked in academic transcript when they graduate. Students from non-partner universities only get the credits as Diploma Supplement.

  3. Programme’s acknowledgement

    All participants will get a Certificate of Accomplishment and Academic Transcript by the end of the programme

  4. Academic Transcript

    Transcripts are typically available one month after the final exams. The Faculty/ International Office will send the soft copy of the transcript to the student's home institution and a hard copy upon request.
