The North Coast of Java has numerous challenges, including the effects of climate change, erosion, tidal inundation, ecological degradation, and social and economic disparities. The potential for the region to become underwater as a result of rising sea levels is a significant issue. Various strategies have been employed by both the government and nonprofit organizations, although the outcomes achieved have failed to resolve these issues. With participants coming from a variety of fields, the objective of this summer program is to generate creative solutions to problems that are prevalent on the northern shore of Central Java.
