The 9th Summer Cource Program 2026 "Collaboration for Climate Adaptive and Equitable Public Health

course

In line with efforts to advance internationalization and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro (FKM UNDIP), continues to strengthen international partnerships and networks through the organization of the Summer Course Program. In 2026, this program marks the eighth Summer Course offered to international students and lecturers from various universities, as well as researchers and public health practitioners from institutions abroad. This year, FKM UNDIP adopts the theme “Collaboration for Climate-Adaptive and Equitable Public Health.” The theme highlights the importance of cross-sectoral and cross-country collaboration in building public health systems that are adaptive to climate change and equitable for all population groups. This topic is highly relevant to current global challenges, particularly in addressing the health impacts of climate change and disparities in access to health services. The Summer Course is designed to integrate theoretical learning with case-based practice, enabling participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of policies, strategies, and innovations in achieving resilient and inclusive public health systems. The 2026 Summer Course will be conducted online, as in previous years, through Zoom Meeting and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), from May 4 to June 4, 2026. Participants come from 17 different countries. Through this program, it is expected that broader academic and research collaborations will be established between FKM UNDIP and various international universities and institutions, while strengthening contributions to the development of climate-adaptive and equitable global public health.
