Course Description

"In the era of globalization and rapid digital transformation, universities are encouraged to strengthen international collaboration in order to enhance academic competitiveness, innovation, and the quality of graduates at the global level. Diponegoro University, through the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, is committed to supporting internationalization programs aligned with the vision of becoming a World Class University (WCU). One of the strategic initiatives to achieve this goal is the organization of the Summer Course Universitas Diponegoro – Code the Future: AI, Blockchain & Cybersecurity, which integrates academic learning, international collaboration, and the development of digital competencies based on emerging technologies. This hybrid program will be conducted from 18 May to 23 May 2026, allowing participants to join both onsite and online from various countries and institutions. The program serves as a platform for capacity building in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity, while also promoting the academic excellence of UNDIP at the international level and strengthening partnerships with global institutions. Through this summer course, the Department of Informatics FSM UNDIP aims to encourage active participation from both international and Indonesian students within a collaborative global learning environment. The program activities include an introduction to UNDIP and the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, keynote lectures, expert sessions, workshops, collaborative discussions, technical hands-on activities, and project-based learning. Participants will explore topics such as Artificial Intelligence applications, blockchain concepts and implementation, smart contracts, cybersecurity fundamentals, secure software development, and digital innovation. The program also provides opportunities for cross-cultural interaction, networking, and collaborative project presentations between international participants and the UNDIP academic community."

Learning Outcomes

After completing the Summer Course Universitas Diponegoro – Code the Future: AI, Blockchain & Cybersecurity, participants are expected to be able to:
• Understand the fundamentals and practical implementation of blockchain technology for secure digital applications.
• Analyze current cybersecurity threats and apply basic defense strategies in web and network security.
• Understand the concept of AI-Driven DevSecOps and secure-by-design software development practices.
• Apply practical skills through hands-on sessions in blockchain development, cybersecurity, and AI-based secure systems.
• Develop collaborative problem-solving and project presentation skills through case studies and team-based projects.
